Richmond’s Springtime Festival!
Richmond MayFest returns for 2026 with another great programme of music, dance, drama and general fun all around Richmond. May Fair at the Castle, crafts at the Museum, Busking, Folk Fest, Morris dancing, Ceilidh, Baroque Fest, markets, Parade … and lots more!

Remember: admission to the May Fair at the Castle is free to local residents as is admission to MayFest Makers at Richmondshire Museum. Locals for MayFest means DL9, DL10 and DL11 residents, and you just need to bring a proof of address.

On Saturday morning it’s the amazing new Ballad Walk
On Saturday afternoon, brilliant new folk trio The Keld at St Agatha’s.
OnSunday evening it’s the ever-popular MayFest Ceilidh with Blind Panic, at Richmond School.
